Jobsite Tour led by Stacy Rooker, Senior Project Manager of Clancy & Theys Construction Company
Gathering afterwards at the Cotton House Brewery (307 S. Academy Street)
Location:
The Walker (apartments, retail and office mixed use)
Tour will include Gigis Playhouse and Howdy Homemade Ice Cream (our program committee member Lenny Lynch with The Riley Contracting Group will facilitate this part of the tour)
Parking:
113 Walnut Street for the parking deck, park on level 2 or 3
Time:
Arrive in time to park and meet outside of the parking deck before 3:00; jobsite tour from 3:00 to approximately 4:00
PPE:
Have your personal PPE available with you in case it is needed for Gigi’s Playhouse and Howdy Homemade Ice Cream (not needed for the main tour)
Remember to wear appropriate clothing and shoes for walking

With over 20 years of experience in all phases of construction management, Stacy has a proven history of successfully completing a variety of projects. Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree from East Carolina University. Raised in northeastern North Carolina, she possesses an incredible work ethic and passion for her family and community. She brings a dynamic ability to work with multiple stakeholders on projects including large developments with site work, new home construction, multi-family, commercial projects and renovations.
Honored with East Carolina University’s “40 Under 40 Leadership Award”, Stacy takes great pride in her humble upbringing and the successes she has had thus far. Paying her own way through college, she ensured no time or money would be wasted and knocked on a construction trailer door asking for a job opportunity at eighteen years old. That first construction job and those first mentors forever changed her trajectory and instilled a love of the industry that remains today.
